Am I beautiful enough?
Hello everyone who has the most beautiful smile in the whole world.
Tonight I did a face time with my friend and we talked about this and that. There was something that still left in my mind till now and when I went to toilet 2 minutes ago, something came up to my mind "OK! I'll speak up about it". So, if you're curious about our face time topic, please just don't because I'm not gonna talk about it now. I'll just let you know that my friend keep making fun of my exotic skin. As an Indonesian, I'm sure you've already known what it means. Yes, my friend also said "You are ugly." I laughed, we laughed. I'm totally OK with it. But why do I have to write this? To strengthen all beautiful ladies out there who need this support.
We all know that the beauty comes from the heart and face. But our people commonly talk about outlook/face/skin/body/hair etc. And I'm sure we all get used to this even we all take it instead of break it. Outer beauty becomes something that all women think of. We buy this and that, from the most expensive to the most useless things. It's OK when you do it for yourself, to make you feel fresh and comfy. But, unfortunately most of us do it for the sake of "what they would say/think if I...".
Seriously girls, trust me, we all are beautiful, hot, pretty, awesome no matter what. You think it's cliche but honestly I say it from my deepest heart. Don't ever dare to have a heart to say "I'm not gonna show up like this, I can't, I look terrible."
I'm not saying this words to win your heart. Let me give you a reason why you should think that you are beautiful: Go to the top of the mountain, close your eyes, take a deep breathe then open your eyes. Yes, it's a beautiful view you're seeing. That's exactly the same thing your parents said when you came to this world. You would break their heart if you keep saying you are ugly. Hey beauty, you are loved!
You know why do they keep saying those heartbreaking words and comparing you to super model? Because you are still not confident with yourself. You are the same as the Victoria's Secret angels, no doubt. Not to mention that they are the definition of a true beauty, not at all. I just want to give a statement that we all have the same beauty. Little do we know, the models are dreaming of a dark skin we have, your wavy hair or our ear to ear woundless smile. It's all about being grateful, don't ever compare yourself to others if it makes you feel bad. And also you don't need someone confession about your beauty. If it's your true colors, you wouldn't think twice to show it.
Please throw out the stigma that beautiful means skinny, bright skin, straight hair, sharp nose, etc. People who keep yelling "ugly" on your face are having problem with their eyes. Don't get mad because you are not someone they're talking about. As someone ever said "All women are beautiful, it's just our eyes that have a limit so we couldn't see it."
One more thing to prove that you're beautiful enough:
